Matthias Schack-Arnott will present a new approach to electro-acoustic percussion he has been developing during his time at Villa Waldberta. This combines the unique acoustic properties of metal, wood, ceramic and skin, combined with a secondary activated layer of electronic material. After the performance Matthias will discuss his approach to percussion, and give examples of earlier work.
